Scholarship Information

The Triangle Chapter invites all new and current Penn State students residing in North Carolina to apply for its scholarship.

Students applying for the scholarship are asked to write a brief essay. Email Chapter President Jeff Blum for more information.

The amount of the award varies from year to year.  In the 2005-2006 school year, we split the award of $1,900 between two local students: Travis Pulling and Shannon Vandyke.

Five dollars of the $15 membership dues is set aside to help fund the Triangle Chapter's endowed scholarship to Penn State.

You can donate to our endowed Scholarship to Penn State via our online membership form.  In addition, donations may be made anytime through the University and are entirely tax-deductible. Use the designation SXXTR to be sure your donation is allocated to the scholarship.
