The Penn State Truck

The truck known throughout the trucker’s nation as THE PENN STATE TRUCK is coming to Raleigh this weekend. It has attracted hundreds of people at the Orange Bowl, even people not affiliated with the game.
Mike Large is a Penn State graduate who drives professionally for England Trucking. He turned his truck into a PSU driving machine. He recently had Beaver Stadium hubcaps made and in the next few weeks will have the PSU fight song as the horn.
Mike is coming to Raleigh this week to help out at a Dance-A-Thon at Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School (organized by PSU graduate Michael Meyer – got the idea from PSU’s THON). This Dance-A-Thon will benefit Duke Children’s Miracle Network. The event is Friday, June 2nd. Mike will then be at Hawfields Middle School in Alamance County (Mebane) on June 5th for another Dance-A-Thon project.
Mike has said he will have the truck available for a showing, picture taking, rides on either Saturday or Sunday if enough interest from the club. Perhaps near NC State or UNC or just up and down Capital Boulevard.
E-mail the club or Mike Meyer if interested at psuallegator@touchnc.net.
